Business Acquisition

I am looking to acquire companies with a minimum £500,000 in top line revenue. 

I am primarily interested in family or founder owned businesses based in England, industry agnostic but focusing around services and software.


I have a preference for contracted and recurring revenue, businesses with a strong asset base.

Consulting

I do strategic advisory and growth consulting for growing businesses. I only work with companies doing in excess of £1mm in revenue.

I am an expert in strategic marketing, lead generation, profit maximisation, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures.

You won’t find me on social media. I’m busy doing deals and building companies.

I love putting deals together, connecting with people and finding new and exciting ways to create value in businesses in a wide range of industries.

Growth

My goal with the companies I work with is to build upon the strong foundations that are already in place.

I want to preserve and grow what makes your business special and find opportunities for your team to grow alongside the business as well.

I am not a private equity shark or an opportunistic competitor looking to pounce.

I want to help you find a meaningful long term home for your business, create opportunities for your team to grow and thrive, and build upon what makes your company special.

Investment Approach

I believe in preserving and building upon the core of what makes a company special and investing in growth by building upon, rather than tearing down, the foundations that have made your business a proven success.

Partnering with and finding ways to empower and provide opportunity for your trusted employees and team is a fundamental part of my approach. In almost every deal I’ve done, management has had a significant equity stake.

I can move quickly and can close in as little as 45-60 days. I can often sidestep the lengthy and burdensome process of traditional private equity diligence and get the deal done with minimal disruption to your life and your business. I have closed on many transactions that no other buyer could figure out.

I know that good partnerships are created when both parties are fair and come to the table to work together and create 
a win-win. I don’t believe in doing business any other way.

I won’t do a deal without feeling that it’s fair and equitable to everyone involved.

Acquisition Criteria

Company Size?

Company doing £500,000 to £3mm in annual revenue.

Company Age?

At least 5 years old. No startups

Location?

I am based in Northampton and London, so UK only but preferably England.

Industry?

I prefer businesses who provide services, e-commerce, and saas companies.

Management?

I have a strong preference for deals with an existing management team in place that I can partner with and grow alongside.

As a bare minimum, the company must have a minimum of 3 full-time employees.

Stake?

I am looking to acquire a minimum of 5% of the company and preferably the entire business.

Revenue Structure?

I'm looking for deals that have some a mix of project based and recurring, predictable, or contractual revenue.

Approach For Growth?

My approach typically resonates the most with a founder or family run company that is looking for the right long term home for their business.
